I was shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's sudden, untimely death. I knew of Steve for several years, but only got to meet him in 2023, when he invited me to join the GFEI external advisory group, which I was delighted to do. Steve was gentle, thoughtful and hugely knowledgeable - and will be greatly missed. He leaves a lasting legacy. Deepest condolences to all Steve's family and friends
