Steve was an amazing scientist and a wonderful colleague but, more importantly, he was a great human being. Always an absolute pleasure to work with he would come out with great ideas and support all those around him in such a generous and warm way. I loved the way that Steve spoke so happily about his family and my heartfelt condolences to those closest to him who are dealing with so much right now. A very special person gone too soon who I will miss greatly. Sleep well, Steve x
